Hydrangea Arborescens Annabelle. A selection of our native American arborescens hydrangea.

Large white bloom heads up to 10 inches across.

Prefers morning sun with afternoon shade or dappled shade all day. No direct sun.

Drought tolerant once established but needs regular water to survive the first or 2nd summer till well established.

Hardiness: USDA Zones 3-10.

Mature size: 3-4 feet tall and 4-5 feet wide.

Blooms on new growth, so if stems die to the ground, the plant will still bloom the next season.

Hydrangea arborescens tolerates heat of the south better than Hydrangea macrophylla. Just one more reason to grow a native plant!

Lovely when planted in groups of 3 or more so the stems of the other plants can help to support the heavy blooms for a dramatic display.

Gallon shrub without pot. Price includes Priority Mail delivery.
