Shrub-like, multi-branched perennial that produces flowers all summer long.

Very fragrant hot pink blooms appear abundantly all summer and into fall.

Mature plants form large carrot-shaped tubers.

Shade - part sun. Prefers regular water but moderately drought tolerant.

Self-sows.

Hardiness: USDA Zones 7-11.

Dies down for the winter in zones 7-9, but re-emerges in May. A nice mulch of straw or shredded leaves will protect the tuber.
