Clethra Summersweet Shrub Hummingbird
Clethra alnifolia. Native shrub. Fragrant blooms in late summer.

Choices:
- Hummingbird - white flowers on a compact shrub up to 3 feet tall at maturity. Twice as many flowers as the species. Made famous by Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, where it grows around Hummingbird Lake.
- Ruby Spice - vivid rose pink blooms on a large shrub 8 or more feet tall.
- Sixteen Candles - white blooms cover stem ends resembling a birthday cake. Dwarf shrub. A newer selection, but 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide at 10 years of age. Stays more upright.
